Wafa El Hilali is a French-Moroccan artist born and raised in France. She moved to London around her late 20’s and later to Dubai where she built up a body of her own work. From naïve art she naturally shifted to abstract art which she felt was timeless and offered an unlimited freedom of expression and interpretation.
Wafa primarily uses acrylics to create original abstract paintings full of movement and spontaneity. She is inspired by the beautiful complexity of life always seeking to make the invisible visible and letting the mind speak loud on canvas.
Through her painting and occasional poetry Wafa shares her observations and lessons of life hoping they resonate with thousands of hearts and souls. She freely let the four elements “Earth, Water, Air & Fire” transcend through her creations graciously inviting the minds to travel, telling stories to the world and welcoming people into her own.
